Lie
The angle, measured in degrees, of the club's shaft when the club is set in the
address position as measured from the shaft to the sole of the clubhead. Iron
sets typically range from 57 degrees (2 iron) to 64 degrees (SW).

Loft
The angle, measured in degrees, of the clubhead's face when the club is soled 
properly. Driver lofts typically range from 6 to 12 degrees, fairway woods from
13 to 28 degrees and irons from 18 (2 iron) to 61 degrees (LW).
